Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday is next week on March 2nd.  The start of the Lent season leading to Easter!  Hollydale will have a brief service on Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm to share in this special day and to lay on the ashes to those who want to participate.  Hope to see you there! 

What is Lent?

Lent is a religious time period of 40 days before Easter. The purpose of Lent is to draw people’s focus to prayer, repentance, and renewal of faith. The 40 days are representative of the 40 days Jesus spent in the wilderness being tempted.
