It was decided to not have the surgery. We will be meeting with the Oncologist tomorrow morning. Possibly be discharged tomorrow. Will continue to update as we know more.

Hi Susan. Just want to give an update on Cindy. She had her operation on Friday and is doing well. Everything went as well as could be hoped for during the procedure and the drs were able to more than was planned. Want to thank all of you who have been and continue to keep us in your prayers.
Unplanned update on Mary E Justice from Her daughter Beth

Today did not go as planned. I got home from church and noticed mom had jaundice and that along with recent stomach swelling had me concerned. After phoning Kaiser advice nurse, we took her to their comprehensive care center. They ran repeat bloodwork and found that her liver numbers had grown worse from last Wednesday. They were apparently already high last Wednesday but no one bothered to inform us of that. 😡🤬 An MRI confirmed that a mass was actually blocking a bill duct. She is in the process of being admitted to Emory St. Joseph tonight. She will have surgery tomorrow to have a stent placed to open the bile duct. She is not happy with this decision. She is in pain as she always is after having a scan done as it hurts her to lie flat on her back for that extended amount of time. I will update when we know more.
I received word via Toni Cox that Melissa Wheeler-Black's mother's husband David passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon. Prayers for Donna her mother and all the family. Thank you.
Please be in prayers for Cindy Northrop. Cindy has been battling cancer for quite some time and will undergo spinal surgery this Friday July 8th. I just received notice that Tip Davenport passed away peacefully yesterday afternoon around 5:00 pm. Please keep Ruth and her family in your prayers as this will be very difficult for her. Please be in prayer for Lynn Reynolds and her children, Elizabeth & Daniel, as well as Stanley & Louise White. Lynn is Stanley's sister for those who weren't aware. Lynn was in a severe car accident Sunday evening and is at Kennestone Hospital in an induced coma. She has had to undergo two surgeries already. Prayers for the medical team caring for Lynn and for answers and healing for her from her injuries. Prayers for family as they handle all the decisions that need to be made for Lynn's care. Elizabeth lives in Boston and is working on coming to Marietta to be with her. God is in the healing business, so prayers for comfort, healing and travel mercies for Elizabeth. Thank you.
Update on Tiffany Evans. Sharon McCravy spoke with her this afternoon and Tiffany indicated she has been released from the hospital and did not have a stroke. Her blood pressure was very high and her care giver was concerned she was having a stroke but did not. Prayers for continued heal for Tiffany.

Please keep Tip and Ruth Davenport in your prayers. Tip was in the hospital in May due to pneumonia and other medical issues. He was sent to Pruitt Health on Mulkey Road in Austell for rehab. He may be released within the next two weeks or so. Of course this is a very stressful time for Tip and Ruth. We visited with Tip yesterday, and we hope that he will get better every day.
