My sister went home to be with Jesus today. It was very sudden and we are grateful for her peaceful passing. On behalf of my family, thank you all for your prayers.

Please see Carole Shelburne’s request for prayers for her brother Chuck and his wife. Both have Covid and her sister-in-law is not expected to live. Pray for answers and miracles to happen for them. Thank you.
Susan please put my brother and sister-in-law in your prayers. I found out last night that they both have covid. My brother has a mild case as he had his shots. But my sister-in-law is not expected to live. Unfortunately she did not take the shots. They both are in their 80s and have been married since they were 17. As you can imagine it is very hard on Chuck. Please prayer warriors, pray long and hard for them.
Please continue to keep Frank Bryant in your prayers as he recovers from his foot surgery. He is doing well but has a way to go before he’s healed from the toe removal. He was devastated to hear of Gail's accident and has been dealing with that as well. I spoke with him earlier today and he said to say thank you to the Hollydale folks for their prayers and hopes to come to church in the next few weeks. Thank you.
Greetings saints of HUMC! This will be a unique Sunday as we worship in person but with a few changes. Your Pastor will be away for a wedding in Seattle, Washington, so the order of worship will be as follows: Sunday school at the regular time. At approximately 11:00 a.m. there will be an opening hymn, prayer concerns/praise reports, offering, message ( to be viewed on big screen together), then closing hymn. Pastor Hull will bring a prerecorded message titled “Because He’s Worthy“ with scripture from Hebrews 13:1-8,15-16.

Hi, Susan. I request prayers for my family. My sister, Pamela Howell, has been diagnosed with cancer. She is being released from the hospital Saturday to hospice care. We don't know how much time Pam has left but we are counting each day as a gift. Her spirits are pretty good and the doctors are managing her pain. Thanks in advance for all who remember us in their prayers. This is especially hard for Pam's husband. So specials prayers for Marvin, please.

Gail was involved in an automobile accident on Hurt Road according to a post on her FB page. There is also an article in the MDJ. Her family is trying to raise funds for a funeral. so if you wish to help, below is a link to her page with the information. It is with sadness that I tell you Gail Draper has passed away. Her daughter Heather sent a message to Brenda Acks and Brenda just shared it on Hollydale Family facebook page. No details are available at this time, but please keep her family in your prayers and especially her granddaughters who loved her dearly.
Update on Frank Bryant. Frank will undergo surgery today to remove part of his toe as it was dying from the abscess he developed. Pray for a successful surgery and recovery for Frank. Thank you.
Please keep Frank Bryant in your prayers. Received a text message from Gail Draper telling me that Frank developed an abscess on his toe and is being admitted to the hospital. Working at Gail’s home and moving her aggravated the abscess and the Cobb Wellstar Hospital is caring for him with antibiotics. Pray for healing and recovery for him. Thank you.
Please keep Dan Cox and his family in your prayers. Dan’s wife, Carolyn, passed away suddenly Sunday and she’s leaving two daughters and grandchildren that were very close to her behind. Please be in prayer for the family of Ryan McClimon. Ryan was on a trip to Costa Rica and while there developed a severe respiratory infection which happened very quickly. He passed away on Friday, July 30th. His mother, brother and partner Nathan were able to fly to Costa Rica to be with him before he passed but they won't be able to come home until Thursday due to the travel restrictions.
Ryan is like a second son to me as he lived next door growing up and best friends to Kristen and Paul. He called me his "other mom." So many memories of him and sadness fills my heart for he was a brother, a twin, a father to Anthony, a life partner and an amazing parent partner and best friend to many. Ryan had a lot of ups and downs in his life but in the past couple years was on top of the world helping others through addiction recovery. A heart as big as the sky for those he loved. Fly high Ryan! You will be missed by many. ❤️
Please be in prayer for Steve Neal who was involved in a motorcycle accident about a week ago coming home from work. The person who hit him left the scene of the accident and others stopped and stayed with him until the ambulance could get there. He was in ICU for several days. Steve and his wife Tara are involved with our Boy Scouts. He’s had to undergo multiple surgeries this past few days and in a lot of pain. He has a long road to recovery but is in good spirits and appreciates all the prayers for he and his family. Prayers for pain med balance, successful surgeries and healing. Thank you
Please keep Hilma Brown in your prayers. Hilma had a MRI done on her left shoulder and found out that her rotator cuff is torn. She will be seeing a doctor on Monday to arrange for surgery. Please pray for answers, comfort, a successful surgery and recovery. Thank you.

Hi Susan, everything went well. My surgery started at 7:30 this morning, it was through by 11. They took the old bar out of my leg and put in a bigger longer bar from my knee to my hip. Everything‘s fine, I fell asleep after the surgery and they let me sleep but I woke up because I’m starving and machines are beeping & beeping! Would you put out the bulletin and let everyone know? I can put full weight on it cause the bar is bigger better one it’s attached at the hip. And the knee with screws.

Please keep Gail Draper in your prayers. She fell last night and broke her hip. As many of you know she's been struggling this past week with a sudden notice she had to move from her home of 27 years due to water damage. She's been under a lot of stress and not feeling well during this time. I don't know all the details but was asked for immediate prayers for her and recovery from this accident. If additional details are provided, I will pass them along. Thank you.
