Prayer Request

From Susan Davis

Please be in prayer for the family of Ryan McClimon. Ryan was on a trip to Costa Rica and while there developed a severe respiratory infection which happened very quickly. He passed away on Friday, July 30th. His mother, brother and partner Nathan were able to fly to Costa Rica to be with him before he passed but they won't be able to come home until Thursday due to the travel restrictions.

Ryan is like a second son to me as he lived next door growing up and best friends to Kristen and Paul. He called me his "other mom." So many memories of him and sadness fills my heart for he was a brother, a twin, a father to Anthony, a life partner and an amazing parent partner and best friend to many. Ryan had a lot of ups and downs in his life but in the past couple years was on top of the world helping others through addiction recovery. A heart as big as the sky for those he loved. Fly high Ryan! You will be missed by many. ❤️

Prayer Request

Please be in prayer for Steve Neal who was involved in a motorcycle accident about a week ago coming home from work. The person who hit him left the scene of the accident and others stopped and stayed with him until the ambulance could get there. He was in ICU for several days. Steve and his wife Tara are involved with our Boy Scouts. He’s had to undergo multiple surgeries this past few days and in a lot of pain. He has a long road to recovery but is in good spirits and appreciates all the prayers for he and his family. Prayers for pain med balance, successful surgeries and healing. Thank you

Update

Please continue to keep Gail Draper in your prayers.  She underwent hip and leg surgery this morning at 7:30 am at Kennestone Hospital.  She text the message below to me about 2pm.  Please continue to keep Gail in your prayers as she recovers from the surgery.  Thank you.

Hi Susan, everything went well.   My surgery started at 7:30 this morning, it was through by 11.  They took the old bar out of my leg and put in a bigger longer bar from my knee to my hip.  Everything‘s fine, I fell asleep after the surgery and they let me sleep but I woke up because I’m starving and machines are beeping & beeping! Would you  put out the bulletin and let everyone know?  I can put full  weight on it cause the bar is bigger better one  it’s attached at the hip. And the knee with screws.

✝️ Would you please tell everyone thank you for all the prayers !!!  🎚

They worked out just fine 😉

Prayer Request

Please keep Gail Draper in your prayers. She fell last night and broke her hip. As many of you know she's been struggling this past week with a sudden notice she had to move from her home of 27 years due to water damage. She's been under a lot of stress and not feeling well during this time. I don't know all the details but was asked for immediate prayers for her and recovery from this accident. If additional details are provided, I will pass them along. Thank you.

Update on Don Northrop.

My apologies! His name is Bill, not Don! Don’t ask me where I got Don from. I have no clue!

Update on Bill Northrop.

Carole has shared the message below relating to Bill, her son-in-law. Please continue to keep Bill and their family in your prayers. They are dealing with a lot of health issues.

He is still in the hospital but they are saying that he didn't have a stroke. Seems he has a bacterial infection. They are trying to determine the best medicine to treat him. Also think he will have to go in some kind rehab. Will have to wait and see. Thanks.

Please keep Don Northrop in your prayers. Don is Carole Shelburne’s son-in-law and Cindy Northrop’s husband. He was taken to the hospital with a possible stroke. Carole said they aren’t 100% sure it is a stroke and they are running several tests to determine what is going on. He’s been in poor health and has to undergo dialysis a few times a week. Please pray for answers, comfort and healing for Don. Thank you.

She has never raised the rent in the 27 yrs I’ve lived here . I’m on social security and I only pay $825 a month. I’m Devastated I just can’t deal with all this, I’ve lost everything on the bottom half on my house. Please ask everyone to pray for me please I need a miracle!

Prayer Request

From Susan Davis

Good morning,

Please be in prayer for my son-in-law Cliff and my daughter Kristen. Cliff has been battling liver disease for the past several months and has been in the hospital multiple times most recently with Sepsis the last three weeks. This has created cognitive issues making him very agitated, as well his liver has failed and kidneys are very close to failure. His body is shutting down and he is not a candidate for a liver transplant due to the cognitive issues. The doctors have said they have done medically all they can do so he was moved to Tranquility Hospice Care on Wednesday evening with only a few days to live. Thy will care for him and keep him comfortable through pain and anxiety medications. I ask you to prayer for comfort for Cliff during this transition and strength for Kristen and our families. Kristen has been strong through this and had to be the decision maker on some very difficult questions and needs prayers for strength and acceptance. Thank you for always being there to pray in difficult times.

Update and Continued Prayers

From Susan Davis
Please continue to keep my son-in-law Cliff and my daughter Kristen in your prayers. The news is not good. Cliff was moved from Cobb Wellstar hospital last night to Tranquility Hospice Care as there is nothing more medically the doctors can do except keep his pain and agitation under control. The Sepsis was throughout his body and caused severe cognitive issues as well his liver has failed and kidneys are very close to failure. He’s only 36 years old. Kristen has been beside him as much as they would allow at the hospital and carried the burden on her shoulders in making very difficult decisions on his behalf. She and Cliff’s mother Rhonda will be meeting with the hospice doctor tomorrow to go over the plan for his care over the next few days. Please pray for comfort for Cliff and for strength for Kristen as she’s been through so much in the past year or so and it’s certainly not getting any easier. Thank you.
