Update and Continued Prayers

Please continue to keep my son-in-law Cliff and my daughter Kristen in your prayers.  Cliff has been in the hospital since June 23rd and is sepsis and under heavy antibiotics.   He has been under hospital “arrest” for the two weeks he’s been there due to being delirious and fear he would harm himself.  Kristen has only been allowed to visit with him twice.  She’s been able to track the medical information through Wellstar’s My Chart app and understands a good bit of the testing being done.  Kristen and Cliff’s mother Rhonda will be meeting with the palliative care doctor this morning at 10:00 to ask questions and discuss his healthcare going forward.  Please pray for answers, comfort and support for Kristen and Cliff as the situation is not good.  Thank you.

Please continue to keep Tiffany Wilkerson (Evans) in your prayers. Tiffany is in a lot pain from her recent foot surgery and has been at the VA ER for the past two days. They believe she may have a blood clot. She has been through so much in her life and through her service to our country. She is tired and worn out and depressed. Many don’t know her story but some do and know she’s survived a lot of struggles and puts on her battle armor and with the strength God gives her tries to work through whatever struggle she’s dealing with. We love you Tiffany and are standing in the gap for you always.

Please keep Walter Robertson in your prayers. Walter will undergo knee replacement surgery on Tuesday morning. Has to be at Piedmont Hospital at 5:30 am. Prayers for the medical team and a successful surgery and recovery for Walter. Also, keep Shirley in your prayers as she cares for him post surgery. Thank you.

I want to give everyone an update regarding Tiffany Evans.

I just received a call from Tiffany.  She had her surgery this morning and now she is at home.  She said she is stable.  She was given a spinal block, but is already feeling some pain.  She is asking for continued prayers for the pain.

She has crutches, but she would like to borrow a knee scooter.  If anyone is aware of one that she might borrow, please contact me and I will let Tiffany know.

Please be in prayer for Kami Mosley who has been experiencing abdominal issues and trying to find answers for several months now. She had her gall bladder removed and has been told she has early stages of cirrhosis. She lives in South Georgia and is having a difficult time finding a doctor / gastroenterologist she is comfortable with and will give her answers to what needs to be done to make her feel better. She is the mother of a young son who wants his momma to get better. Thank you.

Please be in prayer for Tiffany Wilkerson (Evans).

Tiffany will be having triple arthrodesis and gastrocnemius surgery on her left foot tomorrow at 6:00 a.m. The surgery is expected to take several hours and the recovery will be long. Please pray for Tiffany, her family, and the medical staff during her surgery and as she recovers. She is asking for prayers for the painful fusion procedure and strength to mentally combat the 6-18 months recovery window. Thank you!

Please keep my son-in-law Cliff in your prayers. Cliff has been struggling with his health, and was recently diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver and was hospitalized for 2 weeks, has been back to have his abdominal area drained twice due to fluid buildup and has continued to feel bad. Last night he was taken by ambulance to Cobb WellStar due to shortness of breath, falling, blacking out, being incoherent and numbness in his legs. God is definitely working on him and prayers for healing in many ways is asked of those willing to stand in the gap. Thank you. 💕🙏

Harvey was in a memory care facility for a few years and just recently Ann, a long-time member at Hollydale was admitted to the same facility due to her health situation but in a different area of the place. Please keep David Wilson and his family in your prayers. David’s older brother, Charles (The Reverend Dr. Charles E. Wilson, Jr.) passed away last night around 10:30. He had been under hospice care for some time. Charles has served churches in the North Georgia Conference since, at least the mid 1950s and was a Methodist pastor who served several churches in metro Atlanta over the years, Athens, Carrollton, Sandy Springs, and served as a District Superintendent in the Gainesville District for six years before retiring. Tentative schedule for a memorial service is set for Monday, June 14th at the Helen (GA) Presbyterian church, time to be determined at a later date. We want to let you know that our dear friend Sarah Peterson passed away last night about midnight according to her daughter Karen Peterson. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Sarah and Ray were very active and involved members at Hollydale United Methodist Church for many years.

Please keep Ray, Karen, Kevin and all of the family and friends of Sarah in your prayers at this very difficult time of loss.

Please keep my daughter Kristen's friend,Athenia Bromquist, and her family  in your prayers.  Athenia is in her mid-late 30's and was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in early March, then later following a doctor's appointment found that it had spread in her body.  She is undergoing chemo treatments now. She is the mother of two young boys and has a strong support group and covets all prayers.    Thank you.
