Please keep mybrother-in-law, Jerry Wade, and my sister Sandyin your prayers. Jerry has been undergoing some medical tests and traces of cancer have been found in both his lungs and liver. The doctors will be doing a PET scan to see if the cancer has spread to any other part of his body. Please keepStanley & Louise Whitein your prayers. As many of you know they were involved in an auto accident a couple weeks ago and had their two grandsons with them. All are okay health wise, but their truck was totaled and now they have to work through all the insurance red tape and replacement of a vehicle. Pray they get quick answers and are not burdened with costs they shouldn’t have to bare due to someone else’s fault. Thank you.

I have had two pen pals since I was 13 years old. They have been with me through thick and thin.
One, Susan Meara, lives in NY State, Jamestown.
Her brother had a stroke Friday. This is at least his second attack. Right now, I don’t know the damage.

I jumped the gun a little bit on my prayer request for Toni Cox yesterday. She did not have another procedure, but did undergo some rehabilitation and testing from the stints that were done. She is doing fine and her heart was working at 100%!

On June 23rd she had some stints put in and was told she has one that is almost completely blocked and they are going to go in and see if they can alleviate the blockage, not sure if through a stint or other medical means. Please continue to keep my sister ,Ketiva Lynch, in your prayers. As I’ve shared in the past, Ketiva suffers with Lupus which is a chronic inflammatory, auto-immune disease that attacks your tissues and organs. Inflammation caused by lupus can flare up at any time and affect any part of your body including your joints with bone deterioration, skin issues, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs. She is in pain constantly due to the lupus and takes 20+ medicines a day to try and battle it. Yesterday, she was told by her Orthopedist that she has a rotator cuff issue and her left elbow is deteriorating from arthritis. She’s only 47 years old! She is in tears from the pain all over her body and just prays for a break from this disease. Please pray for comfort for Ketiva and that answers and a cure can be found to rid this disease from her and all that suffer from it. Thank you.

Hello Susan. This is Danny Craik. I'm pleased to report I got a job at Emmanuel United Methodist Church as a custodian. It's full time. 40 hours a week. The pay is 11 dollars per hour. When I do a good job, I will be able to earn 12 dollars per hour.
It's better than the restaurant job because Emmanuel United Methodist Church is only 10 minutes away from my apartment. The restaurant is about 40 minutes away from my apartment.
I start my job at Emmanuel United Methodist Church one week from tomorrow. The problem with the restaurant is that it's still under construction. I have no idea when it will be open.
Other good news is On Sunday, July 9th, I will officially be a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Pastor Darryl will usher in new members during church that day.
Please pray I do well at the job at church. Thank you for everything you and Sunday School class and everyone at church has done for me.
Please pass this along to everyone at church.

On Friday, she went to the emergency room and was placed in the hospital and had some stints put in her heart. She is recuperating and being quiet for a few days. I would like to ask for prayers for Wayne Thornton(no relation) and his family. Wayne's 16 year-old son, Mahlon, was killed in a car accident a few days ago after a day of fishing with a friend. The driver hit a tree and Mahlon was killed instantly. Wayne was a wonderful caregiver for my husband when he was sick. Wayne was willing to help Tom anytime, even coming over in the middle of the night, without hesitation or complaint. When I talked with Wayne, he was absolutely devastated. Please keep him and his family in prayer. Thank you
