Update on Frank

Good evening my fellow family. Just wanted to update you on my situation. I was released from the hospital today and am staying in my truck for the moment, until I can figure out what to do. I need a place to stay for a few days until I can move in to a new place. I need God's prayer warriors to keep praying for my situation. I want to thank you for the support you've given me and know that I am grateful. God bless you all!

Update on Frank

Surgery went well and no amputations. They cleaned up the wounds and grafted both feet. God is good all the time. Now all I need is a place to recover once discharged from the hospital. If anyone has a couch or spare bed for a week or so, or knows someone who does, I would be very grateful. Will even pay.....my room phone number is 470-732-4381 or my cell number is 470-815-8664. Please call me with any information, or to talk. 🥰

Prayer Request

From Susan Davis

I received the prayer request below from my daughter for her co-worker Regina Lawson and her parents. Please pray for comfort, strength, healing and peace for Regina and her parents.

Prayer Request- Regina Lawson

Will you please send a prayer request for my friend and coworker, Regina Lawson, her Mom, and her Dad. Unfortunately, I do not have their names.

Her father has battled cancer for many years. He recently took a turn for the worse. He does not have much time left, and the length of time is unknown.

Friday morning Regina received a call from her stepfather that her Mom went into full cardiac arrest while laying in bed. He was able to perform CPR to revive her. When the EMTs arrived, they had to revive her several more times at the home and in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. As of last night, her mother is alive, but not conscious. They have scanned for brain activity, but her heart is very weak and they're basically on a "wait and see" status.

Please pray for peace and comfort for both of her parents. And for strength for Regina through this time.

Love you!

Kristen

Update

Update on Toni Tonia Detweiler Cox

Toni is home from the hospital after several tests. Marsi shared the message below. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Thank

You.

Mom is home. They determined she has a UTI. They think the fainting was probably caused by medications. She now knows what prescribed medications to take and not take when she is sick.

Update

Please continue to keep Karen Berra in your prayers. She is home and waiting on some support from Home Help. She is taking pain meds and has neighbors and some church friends checking in on her so she has food and can help her with her basic needs. Prayers they find the means to help her get better as she continues to struggle with her back and shoulder. Thank you.

Update

I received an update on Karen from Joyce Shonkwiler and want to pass this along. Karen was taken by ambulance last night to the ER and spent most of the night there. My apologies for not being accurate in the earlier email. Her doctor said she could go to the ER, but had to go by ambulance. She is also trying to work in an earlier appointment with the doctor. She has three broken disc and a broken rotator cuff. She is back home with prescription medication to help with the pain. Annette Mundon sent a message to me telling me that Hollydale’s Touch of Grace Ministry paid a visit and brought dinner to Karen this week and others have inquired about how they can help. We will pass along any information received about coordinating meals for Karen. Please continue to keep her in your prayers as she struggles through this painful situation. Thank you.

Prayer Request

Please keep Karen Berta in your prayers. Karen fell and injured her back, believes she has broken something, but due to a previous extensive back surgery she underwent, she just can’t go to the ER. She won’t be able to go to her back doctor until the 16th and will have to be taken by ambulance per her doctor’s orders. Please pray for comfort and healing for Karen as she deals with the injury and what will come next once she can see the doctor. Thank you.

Prayer Request

Message from LJ Russell. Please keep LJ and his nephew’s family in your prayers.

Today we lay my nephew to rest . I want to thank my Hollydale UMC Family for the many prayers for Bob. He was a force of nature. He is blessed to have accepted Christ prior to his passing. I stand firm in the belief that he is now being held in the loving arms of our Lord. Thank You Lord for the blessing of this young man in my life. As all were blessed to have known him.

Prayer Request

Please keep Frank Bryant in your prayers. Frank has had some ongoing health issues, as well as a recent motorcycle accident that injured his left shoulder. He currently is unemployed and is in need of a place he can park his camper that he lives in. He has no electricity or water. If you have some property or place that could accommodate him for a little while, or know of somewhere he can get assistance, please let us know. His contact information is below should you wish to speak with him directly. Prayers for healing and answers to his needs. Thank you.
