It is with sadness I make you aware that Harvey Seymour passed away this past week. Harvey was in a memory care facility for a few years and just recently Ann, a long-time member at Hollydale was admitted to the same facility due to her health situation but in a different area of the place. Ann’s condition is unchanged. Please keep Ann, her son Kyle and their family in your prayers during this difficult time. If any additional information is made available, we will pass it along. Please be in prayer for Stacy Hull’s uncle, Wayne Roach and their family. Wayne was taken to Baptist Golden Hospital in Columbus, MS today. They have deemed him too far advanced to do chemo. Please keep David Wilson and his family in your prayers. David’s older brother, Charles (The Reverend Dr. Charles E. Wilson, Jr.) passed away last night around 10:30. He had been under hospice care for some time. Charles has served churches in the North Georgia Conference since, at least the mid 1950s and was a Methodist pastor who served several churches in metro Atlanta over the years, Athens, Carrollton, Sandy Springs, and served as a District Superintendent in the Gainesville District for six years before retiring. Tentative schedule for a memorial service is set for Monday, June 14th at the Helen (GA) Presbyterian church, time to be determined at a later date. We want to let you know that our dear friend Sarah Peterson passed away last night about midnight according to her daughter Karen Peterson. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.

Sarah and Ray were very active and involved members at Hollydale United Methodist Church for many years.

Please keep Ray, Karen, Kevin and all of the family and friends of Sarah in your prayers at this very difficult time of loss.

Sarah's funeral will be on June 5 at 1:00 at the Canton Funeral Home and Cemetery at Macedonia Memorial Park located at 10685 East Cherokee Drive Canton, GA 30115. Visitation will begin at 11:00.

Please keep my daughter Kristen's friend,Athenia Bromquist, and her family  in your prayers.  Athenia is in her mid-late 30's and was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer in early March, then later following a doctor's appointment found that it had spread in her body.  She is undergoing chemo treatments now. She is the mother of two young boys and has a strong support group and covets all prayers.    Thank you.

Susan, I would like to lift up a very special prayer for my cousin Jamie Scott Justice, her husband Michael and their girls. Jamie has been on our prayer list before with the finding of cancer. She is having surgery today (Whipple procedure). Prayers for the surgeon, the hospital staff and all involved. I know that God is the Great Physician, the Great Healer and the giver of Strength and Peace. My prayer is for all of that for Jamie.
